The Ismaili Jamatkhana in San Antonio has become the first purpose-built Jamatkhana in the nation to adopt solar energy. This project is in line with <a href=\"https:\/\/the.akdn\/en\/home\">Aga Khan Development Network\u2019s<\/a> goal to become net zero carbon by 2030 across all of its institutions and agencies worldwide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/san-antonio-Jamatkhana.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-108166\" src=\"https:\/\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/san-antonio-Jamatkhana-500x325.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"325\" srcset=\"https:\/\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/san-antonio-Jamatkhana-500x325.jpg 500w, https:\/\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/san-antonio-Jamatkhana-368x238.jpg 368w, https:\/\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/san-antonio-Jamatkhana.jpg 770w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>The installation, completed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigsunsolar.com\/\">Big Sun Solar<\/a>, is a 145-kW rooftop solar system and is projected to generate approximately 206,289 kWh annually.
